Timber Ridge Watermain Construction Update: April 19, 2023

The construction contractor mobilized to site the week of April 10th and began confirming locations of the various existing utilities, staging equipment, planning detailed construction activities, and talking to residents.

Temporary water has been set up for affected residents and they are planning to be tie it into impacted homes on April 24th for residents at their homes.

Affected residents who want to be connected to temporary water after this date, are asked to contact the construction contractor JP Philion at 403-498-5496. Please note: 24 hours advanced notice is required, and the resident is required to be at the residence at the time of connection.

Printed notices will be left at impacted residences with details of the temporary water connection. Temporary water is expected to be in place for two to three weeks, and is dependent on construction progress.

As has been previously noted in communications, and discussed with several residents, landscaping within the right of way is and will be affected by this construction work. In the case where the right of way has been significantly landscaped, the contractor may minimize disturbance by temporarily travelling, working, or stockpiling materials on a resident’s property.

The bulk of the construction work is planned to occur from this week through the week of May 1st; with restoration work expected to take place through to late May.
