Some very exciting news to share as the Cold Spring Creek Debris Flow Mitigation Project has reached substantial completion (a major milestone in this project) and is tracking to be completed within budget. The crew worked extremely hard in late December to complete the final roller compacted concrete (RCC) in the structure. The structure has been covered in a protective insulation barrier to allow the concrete time to properly cure over the next few months. Final clean up and project completion is now anticipated in the spring of 2025. In the interim, the crew will be off site and the construction lights will be turned off.

We have planned a meeting for the community to provide more detailed updates on the project; what is left in the final stages of completion; and, the financial aspects of the project and budget later this month.

We are hoping you can mark the date in your calendar and plan to join us. The session will be held via Zoom on January 28, 2025 starting at 2:00pm. This meeting will provide all of the details on everything from the project to the financial aspects – so will be a good one to attend if you have questions or want to learn more.
