Here are a few highlights of the current progress on the construction of the organics receiving facilities:

Central Site Progress

• The solar array footings and rough wiring for the solar panels is complete. Micro Hydro Solar PV Project and the generator has been ordered.
• Construction continues on the site storage area
• The lock block headwall for the processing lines is complete

Columbia Valley Site Progress

• The BC Hydro electrical supply design is in process
• Meetings have been held with the electrical and general contractor for siting the receiving pad.

Elk Valley Site Progress

• The BC Hydro electrical supply design is in process
• The RDEK has received Statutory Right of Way (SRW) documents for placement of a guy in MoTI Right of Way. Completion of the documents by RDEK is in process

Next Steps:

• All sites, receiving pad excavation, forming and concrete placement and curing
• All sites, electrical sub to place distribution wiring from MCC room to blower and lighting locations
• All sites receipt of blower units for installation
• Receiving pads and lock block headwalls for Sparwood and Invermere
• Gravel shouldering around asphalt pads all sites
